Starting from mid-May my Facebook application (FOAF) was throwing error message "500 POST data is missing in the POST" while I had no changes in the code for ages. A little bit of googling unveiled an error with Facebook Rest Client CFC: ( read more on Facebook Error 500: POST data is missing in the POST )

Today I ran into the following problem while working in CFEclipse:

Error opening the editor.
org.eclipse.jface.text.Document cannot be cast to
org.cfeclipse.cfml.editors.ICFDocument

As a result of further investigation I discovered lack of permissions to a few files on mapped network drive with my spaghetti code.

If you are getting sometimes an odd error "Unable to create this part due to an internal error. Reason for the failure: com.rohanclan.cfml.editors.ICFDocument" whenever open a CFM or CFC file with CFEclipse 1.3.x: remove your outdated CFEclipse 1.2.x plugin manually :)
