Coffee For Everyone.

During my trip to London last week, I picked up a copy of .NET, Issue 159. .NET is a UK based web magazine for designers and developers and covers pretty much everything from Firefox to PHP to MySQL to Flash. I was fairly surprised to see that on the included CD were a number of video tutorials on ColdFusion. OK, to be fair, the tutorials are part of Lynda.com's video tutorials and in this case "Dreamweaver 8 Dynamic Development".

For the sheer perverse satisfaction, and also because I was bored I decided to sit the CFMX7 exam. With a single days studying using the CFMX7 Exam Buster from Centrasoft, I scored a rather nifty 92%. I got 86% for the CFMX6 exam. Did I learn anything from doing the exam? Sure, I learned there are a lot of tags I don't use. And, make sure you read EVERY answer. Am I a better developer today than I was yesterday because I passed the exam? No ...

It's been a while since I posted about Scotch on the Rocks, but I'd just like to confirm that yes, it's still on. We've been working on a few things in the background, including more speakers, sponsors, getting the online payment set up, etc, etc.
