Registration for Adobe MAX Europe is now open. I'm still swaying whether to attend or not. One of the factors was how heavy the ColdFusion content would be, and from the sessions posted there are only 5 (in addition to two hands on sessions). There is the "as expected" sessions featuring integration with AIR and one with LCDS. There is also a CF/AJAX session, in addition to a Crash Course. The fifth session is one on Search Engine Optimisation.

With Ben Forta's announcement in regards Per Application Mappings, it brought up the topic of "How is it being done across the different CFML engines?" <CFMAPPING> was introduced in BlueDragon 6.2.1, whereas in Scorpio Per Application Mappings will be supported via Application.cfc Reading a blog posting from Vince Bonfanti from a while back, it looks like NA plan to introduce support via Application.cfc as well (at the time BD didn't have Application.cfc).

We're now 8 weeks away from Scotch on the Rocks, and if you haven't purchased your ticket yet, then you better do so quickly. Remember, Scotch has a capacity, and once that is reach there will be no more tickets available. If you're in the UK, or Europe and ColdFusion/Flex are your thing, then this is THE only conference on our side of the pond that will give you the chance to hear straight from the experts. I'm in sunny London on business right now, and tomorrow night I'm out for a few beers with some splendid fellows like Kev McCabe and Mark Drew. Make sure you come along. As of a week tomorrow, I leave my current post as Senior Developer at Learning Assistant. I have been toying with the idea for some time, even before I took my current role, of going out on my own and with recently becoming an Adobe Certified Instructor I decided there was no better time than to finally unleash Fuzzy Orange Ltd onto an unsuspecting world. I actually started the company in the summer of 2005, but it's only now that things have come together.
