A short brief of the workshop: When developing an Object Oriented web based application, it is normal to have a database with relational tables and a series of objects that represent that data. Often, the amount of time and effort it takes to manually map these objects back and forth from a database is large, and can be very costly.

Luis Majano just gave a great workshop on the Coldbox framework. Although we had some technical issues with Luis using a Intel Mac he managed to find a PC and continue his presentation. I'd like to thank Luis for his time and his efforts with a great framework.

Slightly later than usual but here is a round up of all the ColdFusion related framewoorks news in June. Sammy Larbi has released version 0.2.5 of the Cfrails frameworks. It includes a number of changes including Spry integration for form validation, improvements to database support and more documentation.
